My name is Natasha, and my age is nothing but a number. In this world teenagers are viewed as reckless human beings who are uncapable of making rational decisions. However, I strongly disagree. Although many of us withold to these judgements from society, the rest of us are far from any label that has been branded so deeply upon us from our elders. I don't believe that many of us are given the chance to prove ourselves. Which is pretty sad, seems how we shouldn't have to prove ourselves in the first place. But I digress. I love many things, such as music, reading, writing, volleyball, art, and most importantly the past. I love other cultures and religions, not to mention history. I am a very open minded person however I am also very stubborn and sometimes they clash, but in some strange way it works for me. I'm a dreamer; I have big ideas and an even bigger heart. I see life from an entirely different angle than most, and I enjoy it.
Alright, so I suppose since I told you what I love, I should give you some specifics. Among reading, my favorite authors are: Jodi Picoult, Pam Jenoff, and Stephen King.
I love old cars, and would sell my soul for a 3100 chevy from the 1940's.
My music is a large pot filled with everything. I can't label what I love to one genre because I listen to everything. Some things I listen too:
Simon & Garfunkel
The Troggs
Matt Costa
Bright Eyes
Creedence Clearwater Revival
The Searchers
Rod Stewart
The Monotones
Uncle Kracker
Postal Service
Maps & Atlases
Frightened Rabbit
Right on Dynamite
MewithoutYou
John Mayer
Frank Sinitra
Roy Orbison
The Mostar Diving Club
Two Door Cinema
Future of the left
Emery
The Spill Canvas
Say Anything
The Weepies
Jimi Hendrix
Kid Cudi
& many many more. I just can't think of anything else.
Okay, I think teenagers are capable of a lot. Look at kamp dovetail. We send teens out to do a hard, hot, tiring, yelling, crazy, exhausting job and most of them come through with flying colors. There's always some who make themselves look like lil children, but look how awesome the rest were.
